Xcom 2/Undertale Cross Story Part 13: Can’t Spell TERROR Without ERROR!

Chapter 1: ERROR
(Classic Papyrus’s Point of View)
Oh by Asgore, where do I start?! So much has happened in so little time my head is spinning just thinking about it all! I miss the good old days, where it was just myself, Sans, the weird Gatekeeper guy and the Shieldbearer dude. And the only thing to deal with is those loser Xcom morons who think they can even stand a change. But now we got two AUs mashed up, 3 floating balls of doom, and a crazy skeleton on the loose. First, it all started with those Underfell characters showing up… we even had to build a whole new settlement just to house them all! Luckily that human town nearby helped us. I do remember a little girl dressed in red that would always be ready and willing to help, but I never got her name. But after all that settled down, we had Horrortale get thrown into the mix… that was just plain creepy. Thank Asgore we got them to calm down before anything too bad happened. Now we got reports of Error Sans appearing in the Original Timeline hunting down those AU characters… oh, here comes the headache!
Suddenly, I heard a loud thunderclap go off behind the walls. I turned my head to see… oh, speak of the devil! Error Sans just appeared through one of his portals! How lovely… I heaved a heavy sigh and wandered over to the shooting range. I er… “borrowed” one of their magnetic rifle whatchamacallits and made my way outside to meet our unwanted visitor. As I turned the corner I raised the rifle and say Error holding an Advent Officer with his strings. He was shouting something about finding an object until he caught wind of my existence. Error turned to look at me, flashed a wicked smile and killed the Officer, the body turning into a pile of ash. I rolled my eyes and fired at him, stumbling back a bit because of the recoil. Error teleported himself a couple feet to the right… of course, I forgot he could do that… I started to feel a little regret for even brothing to face him in the first place. Error held out his hand, and fired his strings at me… I felt a tug at my chest and legs as I was bounded. I started floating into the air and I did what I do best, scream loudly and randomly fire the gun like a madman. Error covered the sides of his skull… then I suddenly felt a spike of pain crawl down my spine I dropped the gun and felt my HP go down. Error was holding a tight grip on my very soul… and it did not feel very plesent.
I guess my screaming did do something, as a dozen berserkers and Advent Troopers poured out of the main gates. The troopers aimed their rifles and the berserkers looked just about ready to grind Error’s bones into dust. Error laughed uncontrollably as I struggled to get free. Error waved his hand, and all the Troopers and even the Berserkers bursted into flames, turning into dust quickly. Then C.Undyne ran out, saw Error holding me, grinded her teeth and fired a spear barrage at Error. Error summoned bones to match each spear, and reopened his portal. He laughed again as he entered, dragging me though. Sometime through the portal I must've blacked out, because the journey seemed to flash past like a blink of an eye, if I had any.

Chapter 2: Ink’s Grand Plan
(Classic Undyne’s Point of View)
“What the hell are we supposed to do?!” I shouted. Myself, C.Sans and H.Frisk were standing just outside the Blacksite. I just watched C.Papyrus get kidnaped, C.Sans looks like he’s about to go on a rampage, and H.Frisk just appeared outta nowhere. But the main focus was that Error has one from our own timeline in his lair, where ever that maybe.
“Well, you said he captured C.Papyrus, as in Classic Papyrus, right? That means that Error would not kill him, he’d never kill someone from the OC, that would go against what he’s trying to do. So we can relax on that front, at least.” H.Frisk explained, C.sans did not looks much happier.
*“That does not really help us get him back!” C.Sans snapped.
“Well then professor, maybe you might actually wanna start thinking about a plan of action then? Instead of bitching at me about it!” H.Frisk snapped back. C.Sans was about to full out attack H.Frisk, but I got in between them, spears aimed at both of them, so they did not try anything.
“Listen, both of you relax! Arguing with each other will not get him back!” I commented. Both of them relaxed, and I retracted my spears. It’s like dealing with a couple kindergarteners here. H.Frisk got a sparkle in his eyes, then looked to C.Sans.
“Alright, I’ll call Ink down here, maybe he can help.” H.Frisk took out his phone and started dialing.
“Wait… is that that crazy painting Sans?” I asked, confused.
*“Yeah, the protector of the AUs, but please just do it quickly!” C.Sans replied, and H.Frisk started talking to Ink on the phone. After a couple long minutes, A rainbow portal appeared in front of us and Ink Sans emerged, his portal closing behind him.
*“Heya, I heard Papyrus was captured, I’m here to help. What do we have so far?” Ink asked.
“That’s the thing, we don’t have anything! That’s why we called you!” I replied, crossing my arms. Ink took a moment to think, then I almost felt the light bulb go of fin his head.
*“Ok, how about we call that new ball dude, Rift, right? I think I remember hearing that he could teleport stuff around, right? How about we get someone to go to Error’s lair and free Papyrus, then he/she can send a signal to us and Rift can teleport them back.” Ink explained.
   “Wait… what…?” I asked, confused.
*“Yeah, I remember talking to him when he first arrived yesterday, it could work… but it’s the best we got. Alright, I’ll go find him.” C.Sans teleported back into the Blacksite. I was still confused.
   “Who’s the Riftkeeper?” I asked.
“Like I’m supposed to know.” H.Frisk replied.
*“He’s like the Gatekeeper, but he can teleport people around.” Ink said, but I was still confused.
“That does not really help…” I rolled my eyes. Ink just sighed as C.Sans returned with a giant floating purple golf ball behind him.
*“Alright, who’s gonna go into Error’s lair? Cause no one can enter his lair out of all of us.” Ink asked. We all kinda shrugged.
“You guys can’t, but I can.” I new voice echoed. Soon after, H.Chara appeared floating behind H.Frisk, who jumped a bit and we all turned to face him. “You see, being a ghost, I can go wherever I want to. Although I hope you have a plan to get us out, because I can enter and free Papyrus from any cell Error may have him in, but I can't get us back out.” H.Chara added, landing and crossing his arms.
“That’s where I come in.” Rift floated up.
“Well, that settles that then. Guess I’ll be on my way.” H.Chara shrugged.
“Yeah, better to go ASAP, every passing minute is another where my brother is stuck in Error’s Lair. H.Chara saluted and disappeared, then the rest of us turned to face Rift.
“Will this even work?” I asked.
“It should, but I’m gonna need a wide area to pull this off.” Rift replied.
“Well, this area outside the Blacksite should work, right?” I looked across the entrance to the Blacksite.
“Alright, this could work. I guess we wait now, then.” Rift replied. C.Sans started pacing around, clearly nerves for Papyrus.

Chapter 6: Just Hanging Around
(Horror Chara’s Point of View)
When I appeared in Error’s Lair, he had just finished interrogating C.Papyrus. I thought he was gonna be stuck in a cell or thrown in a ditch, but we was literally hanging out on a wall… no pun intended. I let myself become visible and walked over to the wall C.Papyrus was hanging on. I could see the cracks in his soul from here, Error may not kill anyone from the OC, but that won't stop him from tormenting the poor guy. I could only imagine what Error would do to a AU character, like Fell Chara or something. Anyway, when C.Papyrus finally noticed, he rolled his eyes.
“Oh great… you one of his servants or something?” He asked between coughs. I scoffed, a little offended.
“Like I’d be caught dead working for him! I’m Horror Chara, I’m here to break you out. Being the only ghost around here, I’m the only one that can pass through the Multiverse with ease.” I explained.
“Oh, well in that case get me down, and let’s get outta here!” C.Papyrus replied, struggling against Error’s magical locks.
“Well, we have to send a single to the others back in the OC, I can’t teleport us both out. But are you sure you can take the fall? I can’t really catch you… and I can see the cracks in your soul from here.” I mumbled, scratching the back of head head awkwardly. C.Papyrus seemed to be struggling with more than just the locks.
“Don’t worry, I can take the fall… hurry up… I think he’s trying something…” C.Papyrus replied… but before I could do anything C.Papyrus broke free of the locks, and landed on the ground with a heavy THUMP, leaving a crack in the ground under his feet. When he stood up, he did not look like herself… Error must be controlling him somehow! But before C.Papyrus lost full control over himself, he summoned a blue bone attack, and used it on himself… he froze in place.
“Whoa… what the hell was that? Don’t worry, my magic should be able to break you free of Error’s control… and you're own…” I almost immediately ran over to his side, and started using my magic to break C.Papyrus free. After I got him free, Error Sans walked back into the room.
*“What the…?” He asked, caught off guard. C.Papyrus laid down and I stood up, summoning my magical ghost sword… ok listen, My naming creativity is just as bad as Asgore’s, ok? I don’t know what else to call it. I was about to attack then I remembered, this is not why I’m here… I’m here to get Papyrus outta here, and fighting Error will not get us out any faster. I let my ghost sword go, it disappearing into the air. Error recovered and I summons a shield just as Error launched a bone attack at us. The bones bounced harmlessly off as I sent a telepathic message to C.Sans, telling him we are ready. I backed up and held one arm out to C.Papyrus, making sure he’d be brought with me on the way out. I used my other arm to keep the shield wall up as Error’s Gaster Blasters fired at us, I started to struggle to keep the shield up, and I felt my power drain and the shield began to crack. Suddenly, myself and C.Papyrus were surrounded by a purple aura… whatever that Riftkeeper was doing, it was working. Then their was a loud BANG and a blinding purple light. I opened my eyes to see that we made it to the Blacksite, looking around I saw the group standing there, smiling. C.Sans ran up and gavie his brother a massive hug. C.Undyne heaved a sigh of relief and the Riftkeeper closed his shell.
*“I’m so happy you're alive…!” C.sans muttered, talking to his brother. I sat on the ground beside him… breathing heavy and I think I was sweating, but being a ghost I couldn't tell.
“I ah… I did not think… ghosts could get this tired…” I heaved between breaths. C.Sans let his brother go and turned to look at me, smiling wide.
“Thanks… for getting my brother back…” C.Sans took a deep breath. I smiled back, still out of breath…. I still don’t understand exactly now that works, though.

Chapter 7: C.Asriel’s Confusing Crush
(Fell Asriel’s Point of View)
“Yo, did you guys hear that massive bang?” I asked, wandering down the stairs. It appears that I’m the last one up, and it was almost damn near noon.
“About time you woke up.” C.Chara commented as I joined the group, they were all crowded around the TV, as per normal. C.Frisk and C.Asriel giggled to themselves. I rolled my eyes and took a seat on the other end of the couch.
“So, what I miss?” I asked.
“We all heard the bang, and H.Chara just left, he told us what happened. Error Sans kidnapped C.Papyrus.” F.Chara explained.
“Jesus… and I slept through that?” I laughed to myself. “I have always been a heavy sleeper, I suppose.” I added.
“Yeah, no shit.” C.Chara commented. “Anyway, me and Aliza are gonna go outside for a bit… I guess we should leave the other lovebirds alone…” He added, giving C.Frisk and C.Asriel a look. C.Frisk just rolled his eyes, but C.Asriel’s face looked a little red.
“Hey!” C.Asriel shouted, but they two were already gone. C.Frisk just went back up to his room and F.Chara started practice fighting with F.Frsk. C.Asriel just looked around awkwardly, I walked over to him and patted his shoulder lightly.
“Hey, little me, what’s the deal between you and C.Frisk?” I asked, walking him further away from the others.
“I don’t know… It’s confusing…” C.Asriel replied, clearly embarrassed. I knelt down beside him to get in eye-level with him.
“Sorry for asking such a direct question, but it appears you and C.Frisk have been getting along… I mean, you two look really close, do you by chance have feelings for him, I mean do you like C.Frisk?” I asked, looking him dead in the eye.
“Well maybe… I just feel like we have been acting like siblings for so long… I feel like mentioning it to him might ruin our relationship…” C.Asriel replied. I nodded.
“To be honest, I’ve felt that way about F.Chara since I meet her… more so considering that she never died to the flower sickness… thing. We grew up so close to each other… even after everything she put be through, everything she did to me, Frisk, and the others, I couldn't help but feel some special attachment to her.” I replied, remembering growing up with F.Chara.
“Really? Well… me and C.Frisk are like brothers, even if we don’t come from the same family… I feel like that should make it ok… but still, the other side of me thinks it’s kinda weird, you know?” C.Asriel explained.
“Yeah, I feel the exact same way with F.Chara, but to be honest, I don’t mind keeping our relationship the way it is now. But hey, give yourself some time to think about how you truly feel, alright? Cause you might find out you love him when it’s too late.” I replied. C.Asriel nodded, and sat back down. F.Chara slapped F.Frisk in the face with a pillow, who fell back hard on the couch.
“Agh! Alright, alright, you win! Mercy!” F.Frisk shouted, giggling loudly. F.Chara laughed and put the pillow down. F.Chara sat on the couch, smiling. F.Frisk sat back up and brushed her hair a bit. Suddenly C.Chara and Aliza rushed back into the house.
“Guys! Error! He’s literally just outside, behind the house… Sans and papyrus are confronting him now, but they need help!” C.Chara shouted, C.Frisk heard the shouting and ran back downstairs.
   “What??” C.Frisk asked.
“Well shit… let’s get out there then!” F.Chara drew her knife. Everyone looked around at each other, then we heard evil laughter and a loud explosion behind the house. C.Asriel jumped and hid behind the couch, shivering.
“Yeah, that’s nice… you guys go… I’ll stay here… and ugh.. Protect the house…!” C.Asriel whimpered. I cracked my knuckles and looked at the others.
“What are we waiting for?” I smiled, and we all rushed outside.

Chapter 8: Error’s Fancy Games
(Fell Chara’s Point of View)
*“Wait… what the hell are you guys doing out here?” F.Sans asked as we rushed out. I remember C.Chara saying something about C.Sans/Papyrus confronting Error, but apparently F.Sans/Papyrus joined them.
“We are here to help! You're gonna need all the help you can get!” I replied.
*“Well, the more the merrier, I guess.” C.Sans shrugged, and we all turned to face Error.
*“Aint this cute? To bad it won't matter!” Error laughed, and summoned his blasters and strings. C.Sans and Papyrus readied themselves, getting their bone and blaster attacks ready. Myself and F.Frisk drew our weapons, I felt my eyes glow red. C.Frisk and C.Chara also drew their weapons, C.Chara’s eyes going wide. Even Aliza summoned her magic, her hands glowing green and her hair flowing behind her in the wind. Just as the battle was about to start, H.Sans walked in beside me, holding his dented and bloody axe over his shoulder. He laughed and got into a combat stance. We waited to make sure no one else was gonna join us, then I got impatient, Holding my knife high in the air, I charged Error. But as I charged, Error held out his hand, and everything around me started slowing down, but I was not. I slowed down and stopped mid-charge. I turned around to see everyone was frozen in time… everyone, but C.Frisk, who was looking around confused.
“What the hell is this?” I shouted back to C.Frisk.
“Well, clearly he’s slowing down time so he does not have to deal with all of us at once.” C.Frisk shouted back. I gave him a unimpressed look, and I was about to shout something sarcastic about stating the obvious, when a massive rift opened above our heads. I looked up, and was suddenly blinded by a flash of light. I closed and rubbed my eyes, then I recovered I looked up and noticed we were in a blue, shining void. Static echoed in my ears and the air around me felt dead, if that even makes sense.
“Where the hell are we?” C.Frisk asked, also recovering.
“I remember hearing H.Frisk say something about Error’s lair in the multiverse.” I suggested.
“Pretty lame for a lair.” C.Frisk replied. I rolled my eyes and turned back to Error. I felt my anger built up by just seeing his face, the fire in my soul burned brightly, my Determination glowing like a beacon of bravery, justice, and hope. Hope to take this bastard down, rain down sweat justice, and the bravery to see it though. I held my knife straight, aimed at Error’s chest, swept it to the side and charged him. As I closed it, I held my knife high in the air and went of a mid-charge doward strike. Error doges to the right and I barreled past like a train. I managed to slow myself down and spin around, looking back at Error. C.Frisk started to think, and he got a sparkle in his eyes.
“Wait, maybe we don’t have to fight, cause no way we are gonna be able to kill this guy ourselves! Maybe try acting our way out of the fight!” C.Frisk shouted to me. I gave him a look, ran over to him, sliding across the ground to duck a blaster shot, and stood up next to him.
“You mean you wanna spare this asshole?” I snapped.
“No, but maybe we can mess with his mind, cause him to drop his guard.” C.Frisk explained.
“Ok, ok fine!” I turned to look at error, holding a defencive stance, waiting for C.Frisk to do something. C.Frisk ended up putting his weapon away, and took a step towards Error.
“I wonder how you became what you are now..” C.Frisk asked, smiling. Error laughed.
“Wouldn't you love to know!” Error shouted back, his voice echoing through the multiverse. Error then launched his strongs at the unarmed C.Frisk, the strings wrapping tightly around his arms. C.Frisk struggled to break free, and I used this moment to charge right in front of Error as he was busy keeping C.Frisk… “under wraps”.
“You forgot about me, asshole!” I appeared face to face with error, and I punched him right in the face with all my power. C.Frisk got free of the strings as Error got thrown back a couple feet from my power punch. Error got up, and snapped his fingers. Another blinding flash of light later, we were back in the OC and time was restored. Everyone stumbled a bit and recovered from the sudden time skip, but the battle was far from over.

Chapter 9: Protect The Girl!
(Classic Chara’s Point of View)
Everything happened like a blur, some random flash of light passed and suddenly F.Chara was on the other side of Error.
*“What the hell was that?” H.Sans stumbled forward.
“Careful, he’s freezing time and dragging people to the multiverse!” C.Frisk shouted. Just as he finished his sentence, everyone started slowing down. I looked around, and watched as a flock of birds overhead because floating statues… this is trippy, to say the least.
“Whoa… what’s going on…?” I turned around to see that Aliza was the only other person not to be affected. Aliza looked a little nervous, but I could tell she was trying to act tough.
“Don’t worry, I’-” I was about to comfort her, but was cut off by a loud BANG going off and we ended up in the empty void that could only be the multiverse. I turned back around and immediately got in front of Aliza, holding up my knife, ready to protect her.
*“Well, ain’t this cute!” Error’s voice echoed in my ears. Suddenly, Aliza walked up beside me, holding up her hands, which were burning green.
“Chara, I can fight, let me help you!” Aliza locked eyes with me, and I could almost feel her fighting passion burning within her soul, I smirked and nodded, and we both turned to face Error, who just laughed.
*“Gee, this is cute en all, but listen, I can’t have a AU character getting in my way, nothing personal” Error chuckled to himself. I felt my anger grow… and my eyes started going wide… the only thing on my mind was protecting Aliza. By this point w had my “jumpscare” face, as everyone calls it on and charged Error. Error vanished and I turned around, my face turning to normal. Error reappeared behind Aliza and held out his hand and suddenly, Aliza’s legs and arms were tied by Error’s strings. Aliza started struggling but their was no way she’d be able to break free.
“I swear if you hurt her, I’ll rip you apart!” I shouted at Error, the grip on my kinfe growing tighter.
*“Ha! I’d love to see you try, make one more step, and she dies!” Error snapped, and suddenly Aliza’s soul became visible, a small green heart appeared on her chest. Error’s strings took hold of her soul and started to squeeze it… I felt Aliza’s soul crack myself, and I swear, my own heart broke with it. Aliza grunted in pain but managed to smile softly at me, trying to stay strong, for my sake. I felt my my hand grip my knife by the blade, I slowly raised it and I threw it at Error. To my surprise, I managed to Error with the throw, right in the eye, too. Error yelled in pain and threw Aliza a few feet behind me. She landed with a heavy THUD and Error took out the knife from his eye socket, with was now filled with black ERROR text. Error then threw the knife back, aimed at Aliza, who was lying motionless on the ground. Out of habit, I ran and dived towards Aliza, I can’t remember how I did it, but I managed to catch the knife mid-air and I landed on my feet just in front of Aliza, who was breathing shallow and heavy. Thankfully, Error got impatient and teleported the three of us back to the OC. I ended up near the door of the house, Aliza still laying on her side beside me.
“Ok, what happened this time?” C.Papyrus asked.
“Aliza’s hurt! I gotta get her back inside!” I replied, sheathing my knife and heaving her over my shoulder.
“We’ll distract Error, get Aliza to Toriel inside!” C.Sans shouted to me. I nodded and made a run for the door, carrying Aliza over my shoulder. Error tried to drag me back into the multiverse, but C.Sans took the brunt of it and he was teleported to the multiverse with Error instead. Thankfully, Error also forgot to freeze time again so I was able to kick open the door and lay Aliza down on the couch. Soon after, C.Asriel and C.Toriel came running into the living room.
“Oh my goodness, what happened?” C.Toirel gasped.
“Error’s outside, he dragged me and Aliza to the multiverse. I tried my best but Aliza got hurt! You need to help her, please!” I explained, tears forming in my eyes. C.Toriel knelled beside Aliza and started healing her. C.Asriel just stood their watching, to shocked to move.
“I’m trying my best, but a wounded soul is harder to heal than physical wounds.” C.Toriel admitted. I sat beside Aliza and held her hand tightly…
“Please… don’t leave me Aliza… I need you…” I mumbled. I really couldn't lose Aliza, she was the one who truly helped me change. If it wasn't for her, then I’d still be the creepy old kid I was back in the Underground… Aliza was the first chance at true love I ever got, and I’ll be damned if I lose her.
“Well, that’s the best I could do. She’s stable, but she’ll need time to heal.” C.Toriel explained. I could see the smaller cracks in Aliza’s soul got healed, but she still looked bad. C.Asriel finally broke out of his shock and sat down at the table, I swear I could hear him crying lightly. But as I was watching Aliza breath slowly… I swear I saw her hand twitch… then she suddenly sat upright, coughing loudly. After she calmed down we locked eyes, and she did that same soft smile she did when Error had her tied up. I heaved a heavy sigh of relief and hugged Aliza lightly.
“I’m so happy you're still alive…!” I whispered in her ear.
“Of course, it’s gonna take more than that to kill me off!” Aliza whispered back. I let her go and let her lay back down. I heard another BANG from outside and unsheathed my knife.
“Well, I should head back now… you're gonna be ok, right?” I asked Aliza, getting my knife back.
“Yeah, our friends need you, get back out there. I… I love you!” Aliza replied, and I couldn't help but lean in and kiss Aliza on the cheek.
“I love you two…” I replied, pulling away. Right before I left I could hear Aliza mumble something.
“One day, when we're older, I’m gonna marry you…” Aliza’s cheeks went bright red when she figured out I heard her.
“I...I’d love that…” I replied also blushing. C.Toriel giggled to herself.
“Oh, all you kids are too cute!” She commented, still giggling.
“Well, go give Error hell, my handsome protector!” Aliza giggled and waved at me. I saluted back and ran back outside, only to find the fight was over and C.Sans was standing in the middle of the group along with Ink Sans.

Chapter 10: Just Can’t Take It Anymore…
(Fell Chara’s Point of View)
When the fight was over, I ended up sheathing my knife and leaning against the side of the house. As everyone was talking about how crazy the fight was… I couldn't help but just stand there… feeling all this stress building up inside me… I just couldn't take this anymore. On top of all the Xcom attacks, and the fact Error found my home, I still felt so alone. Not in terms of friends, but I feel like there's just gaping hole in my heart. I wish I could find someone just as easy as C.Chara did… all I want is a change to find someone who connects to me, who loves me, and who I can love back! I kept myself from crying, because I feel to embarrassed to talk to anyone about it. When I saw that everyone was going back inside, I used this to try and sneak by, hoping that no one would notice how misibreal I look. I walked straight past everyone, going right to my room.
“Ok, now I really think something is wrong with F.Chara.” I could hear C.Chara as I walked into the house.
“Beats me, but I guess she’s just stressed with everything that happened.” F.Asriel replied. Yeah, you could say that. I stormed off to my room, slammed the door and curled up into a ball on my bed. This time, I couldn't help but cry… I just feel so confused I can't contain it anymore! I ended up crying myself to sleep…
The next morning, I woke up after F.Frisk and Aliza already went downstairs. I still felt a little mentally unstable so I thought it best to just stay in bed… not like I got anyone who cares deeply about me! My thought process was interrupted to the sound of my door opening. I did not bother to sit up to see who it was, feeling to much like crap.
“Hey, everyone is conserved for you, they said something about you feeling stressed yesterday, right?” C.Toriel’s voice asked.
“I’m.. fine… don’t worry about me.” I tried to sound normal, but I guess C.Toriel was not buying it. She sat on the end of my bed and lightly rubbed my shoulder.
“It is clear you are everything but fine, so please, just tell me.” C.Toriel pushed for answers. I sighed, knowing that I was not gonna get outta this one. I sat up and leaned against the back of my bed.
“It’s just that… I feel alone… not in terms of friends, but I’m missing that special someone in my life, you know? I mean, C.Chara found someone super easily! And he’s like what, ten? I’m eighteen and I havent found someone yet! That and F.Frisk and F.Sans have been together for three years now… not that I don’t feel happy for everyone, trust me I do, but I just wish I could have someone to love.” I explained.
“Don’t give up just yet, love strikes when you least expect it. You’ll find someone eventually.” C.Toriel reassured me. I sighed again
“This may sound weird, but is it awkward that I liked Aliza when she first arrived…?” I asked, I know she’s too young for me anyway, but that’s not the point! The point is that I might… ya know… like girls...when I am a girl...that sorta thing.
“No, we all liked her, she’s a very nice girl.” C.Toriel replied, clearly not understanding.
“I mean really like her… oh what am I saying, she’s waaaaaaaaaaaay too young for me even if she did not hit it off with C.Chara.” I mumbled, embarrassed that I even brought it up, knowing that Aliza is so young.
“We all have our awkward moments, just dont let C.Chara, or Aliza herself catch you saying that.” C.Toriel replied.
“Ok, ok… I suppose I should head down then… wait! I got Stun Lancer training today! Yes! That’s exactly what I need!” I lit up.
“Well, better not keep Undyne waiting then, come on!” C.Toriel laughed.
“And I also smell that chocolate syrup from here, so get outta my way!” I giggled and barreled downstairs.
“Oh, there yo-” F.Frisk started, but I just blasted past her, quickly filling up a plate with pancakes and dumping the chocolate syrup on them, quickly digging in.
“Gee, glad you could join us.” C.Chara mumbled. I finished the plate in under a minute and wiped my face off.
“Yeah, she’s fine…” F.Frisk giggled. I rolled my eyes and placed my plate in the kitchen, heading straight for the door.
“Not gonna stay a while?” C.Frisk asked.
“I got training today, that and I need to vent off my stress build up anyway, later guys!” I waved as I walked outside, breaking into a sprint, heading straight for the Blacksite.
When I reached the Blacksite, it was rather empty. There was a lot less Stun Lancers around, and it appears berserker training has been canceled, or else I would of been able to hear them. It also smelt like something was burning... weird. I just hope I could still do my training. As I approached the gym, C.Undyne was leaning against the wall near the door. When she saw me, she smiled and waved, but something was definitely wrong here.
“Hey Undyne, I’m here for training… but what’s going on?” I asked, trying to hide my crappy mood.
“Sorry kiddo, Lancer training is canceled today. Error’s recent attack left the Blacksite short on manpower, I don’t even know if the Elite Lancer you always train with even lived.” C.Undyne replied. I heaved a heavy sigh and kicked the dirt… I need something to vent this stress away!
“Oh… ok… well, looks like I gotta find something else to do then.” I started looking around, then C.Undyne got an Idea.
“I heard C.Papyrus as at the shooting range today, we could stop by if you want.” C.Undyne offered.
“Better than nothing…” I shrugged. C.Undyne nodded, and started leading me to the range. I could tell she knew something was up, but she did not press on. When we made it to the range, C.Papyrus was inside cleaning a rifle. When he saw us, he put the rifle down.
“Oh, hey guys. What’s up?” He asked, smiling.
“Lancer training is canceled today, and F.Chara here needs something to do.” C.Undyne explained.
“Alright, I guess I could show you a thing or two.” C.Papyrus decided.
“Hey, just so you know I’ve been a little stressed recently, so I’m not feeling the best.” I warned. C.Papyrus shrugged and gave me a rifle.
“Alright, you see the targets downrange? Shoot them. I’ll keep them on a loop so you can just keep going.” C.Papyrus explained and flipped a switch on the way. I saw the targets flip up, cardboard cutouts of Xcom soldiers. Before C.Undyne could even aim, I raised my rifle and destroyed all five targets, when I stopped smoke slowly rose from the rifle’s barrel.
“Huh, not bad for a rookie.” C.Papyrus muttered as C.Undyne fired her first volley.
“Like I said, I’m not feeling my best today…” I replied as I continued to fire, destroying target after target after target like nighing.
“Hey, maybe after we are done here you can go find Kayla again, maybe get more lessons from her.” C.Undyne suggested. Then I remembered a couple days ago, when Lancer Training was not even planned, F.Sans introduced me Kayla Taylor, a apparently Ex-Xcom Ranger. She ended up giving me some lessons, but to be honest, she was really strict on me. Like every time I tried something she had some way to put me down, almost like she was trying to make me feel like a failure.
“I don’t know… she’s really strict. Like no matter what I did, she made me feel like a failure! Oh, you did that wrong, this will never work! It’s almost like she was saying no matter what I did I’d always fail! I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!” I could feel the rage build up inside me again, and I full autoed the rifle, causing it to overheat.
“Hey, easy, those things can explode if you overheat them!” C.Papyrus warned. I just dropped the gun, and turned around… holding back tears.
“I...ugh… I’m…” I tried to form words, but I could not. The stress was too much, I just couldn't hide it anymore… I fell to my knees and just bursted out in tears, crying heavily. I buried my face in my hands, ashamed.
“Whoa, you ok girl?” C.Papyrus asked… I wanted to punch him, of course I’m not ok! What kinda moron do you have to think someone crying is ok!?
“She’s clearly not Papyrus, just… clean up the mess, I’ll go take her outside.” C.Undyne managed to remain camp, but I could hear the annoyance in her voice towards C.Papyrus. “Come on Chara, let’s go for a walk outside.” C.Undyne knelt beside me and whispered in my ear. I allowed myself to guided outside, still crying. C.Undyne lead me outside the Blacksite gates and waited for me to calm down. “So, what’s weighing on your heart so heavy?” She asked as I calmed myself down.
“Well… besides what just happened… I’ve just been feeling so lonely recently. Like everyone around me is finding a relationship and I’m apparently not good enough for true love.” I muttred. C.Undyne wrapped an around around my shoulder.
“First of all, the whole you're not good enough for true love thing is bullshit. You're a wonderful girl and hell, if I was not already dating C.Alphys, I’d date you.” C.Undyne comforted me. I felt like she was gonna drag me into a three way relationship with her and Alphys right then and there… which got me thinking about the fact that I might be going lesbian again… that’s not weird, right? So what if I like girls, right? If other people don’t like it they can go suck an egg.
“Thanks I guess… but maybe I just need to get away from all this fighting and consider my options.” I replied, and cracked a small smile.
“That’s the spirit, girl! Take a couple days to relax your mind, and don’t worry, you’ll find someone faster than you think.” C.Undyne winked and let me go.
“Yeah… thanks Undyne… I’ll see you later then.” I waved and walked backwards again until I was out of sight. I started feeling a little better, but all of that was ruined when I saw Error Sans attacking a small Advent camp about halfway along the way to the Settlements. I thought about for a moment, then decided it was time for a fair fight. I drew my knife and approached the camp. Error saw me out of the corner of his eye and laughed, turning to face me.
*“Well, well, well… look who we have here.” Error stared me down.
“How about you fight someone your own Lv, jackass?” I spat at Error. I raised my knife and my eyes glowed red again.
*“That’s some strong talk coming from a LONER!” Error spat back, and I gasped. *“Oh, did I touch a nerve there? That’s right, I know no one loves you! No one cares for you, no one would ever care for a Chara, no matter what world they come from!” Error kept pressing, and I felt my anger turn into pure sadness. I dropped my knife and held back more tears… Error was messing with my head, I could feel it… but I’m too weak to stop it. *“You feel that? You feel that sadness? Use it to power your anger! Power your anger and join me, and I promise that you will get your revenge.” Error kept pressing. Suddenly I was shot back into reality, and I got an idea.
“You know, you keep making me feel alone, but maybe you're doing this because you're the one who’s alone! You're trying to make yourself feel better! Because the both of us may not have someone to love, but at least I got more then enough friends to support me!” I snapped. Error grinded his teeth, but I could almost feel the regret burning in his darkened soul. Error Raised his hand and before I could react, I was trapped by his strings. My hands and legs were tied and my soul was also wrapped his strings. I did the first thing that came to mind, I called out for help. Error waited for a few minutes, then smiled.
*“Would you look at that, nobody came!” Error opened his portal to the Multiverse. Right before he dragged me through, a magical spear flew past his head. I turned my head to see C.Undyne, C.Sans and even F.Sans standing there. I guess they heard me. They all were in combat stances and I tried my best to break free.
“If you don’t let her go I’ll rip you in half!” C.Undyne shouted. F.Sans summoned a Gaster Blaster, but C.Sans shook his head, and said something about it being too dangerous to use.
“Fools! You can not stop me now!” Error laughed and dragged me through the portal. The last thing I heard was C.Undyne yelling before the portal closed.

Chapter 11: Error’s Lair
(Fell Chara’s Point of View)
Error threw me in a cell in the basement of his lair, and he used some kinda magical lock to seal it up. I spent most of my time sitting in the corner, crying to myself. Error already did so much damage to my mental state.
*“There's still a chance to get back at everyone.” Error appeared at the door to the cell. I looked up felt that same fire burn in my soul.
“Would you just shut up? You better be ready, cause my friends are gonna get me out!” I spat at Error.
*“If you're friends cared they would've went looking for you! Don’t you think they would of noticed you were taking so long?” I could feel Error getting impatient I stood up and stared Error down.
“At least I have friends! You're too much of an asshole to have anyone care for you! You think I’m sad and alone? Take a good long look in the mirror you jerk! At least I’m not the one spending my days rotting in the Multiverse, trying to destroy so many innocent Timelines! I still remember what you did to Underfell, my original home! Sure, we were not the most innocent of Timelines, but it did not deserve to get destroyed!” I snapped, and my eyes glowed a bright red. I balled my fistets and started Error dead in the eye with a look of pure hatred.
*“You naive idiot! You don’t understand! The AUs are the mistakes! YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN EXIST!” Error yelled in my face.
“Yeah? You call all the other AUs mistakes but you yourself is an Error!” I shouldn't of said that… Error snapped, grabbed me with his strings through the bars and I felt my soul crack under the pressure of the strings. Then, he lifted me up into the air and slammed me against the walls, roof and floor of the cell many times. Error even slammed me against the magical barrier of the bars, sending electricity through my body. By the time he was done, he slammed me down on the ground one last time. My body was badly bruised and cut, and my soul was on the brink of shattering. I tried getting up, but I was too weak, I fell down and blacked out, the last thing I heard was Error laughing uncontrollably.

Chapter 12: Fragile Rescue
(Classic Undyne’s Point of View)
*“Alright, you ready?” Ink Sans asked. I just spent the last half an hour making a plan to rescue F.Chara, who I just watched get dragged away by that prick Error. I felt so bad for the poor girl, she had so much bothering her already, getting kidnapped is probably just making her feel worse. Ink Sans and H.Frisk showed up soon after Error left, and along with C.Sans and F.Sans, we made a plan to get F.Chara back. Because Ink Sans can actually use his teleportation in the Multiverse, I’m gonna go with him to get F.Chara back. No way I’m sitting this one out.
“Yeah, let’s roll.” I replied, and I felt my eye underneath my eyepatch begin to glow. Well, it’s not really an eye, because whenever I get really determined about something my eyepatch flies off and the eye socket underneath does this weird spear glowing thing. Regardless, Ink places a hand on my shoulder and teleported both of us to Error’s lair. We appeared in the main room, and neither F.Chara or Error was here.
*“Alright, if I remember this place from my last visit, Error should have some magical jail cells downstairs, but he also has his main work station down their. We should find both F.Chara and Error down there.” Ink explained, whispering. The I got an idea, I took my boots of.
“If we gotta sneak around, by boots would make to much noise.” I whispered, clipping them to my belt. Ink nodded and lead me to the stairs, the both of us started slowly making our way down, one step at a time. Once we reached the bottom, we saw lights coming from two rooms.
*“Ok, Error’s main workstation is the first room on the left, the cells are about halfway down the hallway.” Ink Explained. As we passed the first room, we could see Error working on some weird machine. Luckily it was loud enough to mask what little sound we were making. I kept my magic on standby, but me managed to pass by without Error noticing us. Finally we made it to the cell room.
“Well? Is she in there?” I asked impatiently, still whispering.
*“Yes, I see her! Oh crap! She’s unresponsive and there is a magical lock on the cell. I should be able to break through it, but it will take some time, cover my back will you?” Ink got to work and I kept a sharp eye on Error’s workstation. After about a minute, Error walked out of the room and I summoned a spear, already in a combat stance. He casually turned his head to see me and looked confused.
*“What the…-” He was cut off by me throwing a spear at him. Error summoned a black bone wall and my spear shattered on impact. Error grinded his teeth and summoned a normal bone barrage.
“Any day you wanna sped this up!” I shouted back to in and sidestepped the bone barrage, deflecting a couple bones with my spears.
*“I’m working as fast as I can!” Ink shouted back. I sighed and turned back to Error, who was smiling and laughing like the cookey son of a bitch he is. I’m gonna enjoy kicking his ass.

Chapter 13: Unsettling News
(Fell Frisk’s Point of View)
Myself and the others decided it was finally about time we had a relaxing day for once. Nearby was the Human Town who helped build the settlements, but they also had a swimming pool there. We just had to buy some swimsuits, but C.Asriel got some money from his dad and the Town also has a clothing store. F.Asriel came back from packing us all towels and handed out the backpacks. Myself, F.Asriel, C.Frisk, C.Chara, C.Asriel and Aliza were all going. I had no idea where F.Chara was, I hope she was alright.
“Alright, we ready to go?” F.Asriel asked.
“Yeah, dad gave me $150. That should cover the cost of the swimsuits and entrance to the pool.” C.Asriel replied. We all shared a nod and made our way outside.
“I hope the people their are nice.” Aliza commented, holding C.Chara’s hand.
“They are, they helped build the settlements.” C.Chara replied. Aliza breathed a bit easier. Soon, we reached the Town and made our way to the clothing store. My and Aliza went off to the girls section as boys went off to the other side of the store. It’s not like it was a big place. Aliza picked up a pink one piece swimsuit with a bunch of flowers on it.
“Girl, that’s gonna look so cute on you!” I commented. We both giggled and I found a red bikini that had a cool fade pattern on it. Myself and Aliza went to the girls change rooms as the boys were already done, waiting by the guys change rooms. When we got out, F.Asriel got a text.
“Wait… a message from F.Sans?” He looked confused, but read it anyway.
“Hey C.Chara, how do I look?” Aliza asked as she did a sexey pose for C.Chara. Before he could reply, F.Asriel dropped his phone.
“No...no no no no no!” F.Asriel started to sweat… holding his head.
“Oh no… what happened…” C.Frisk asked. I picked up my brother’s phone and read the text message.
“F.Chara’s been captured…?!” I summed up the message. Everyone froze and I could swear I could hear F.Asriel start to lightly cry.
“Well, are we still gonna spend the day at the pool?” C.Frisk asked, looking around awkwardly.
“We did spent so long planning it, and I’m sure the Sans’ are planning her rescue. Not much we can do from here. We should enjoy ourselves, and keep on eye on our phones for more updates.” Aliza explained, and she had a fair point. I knelt down beside F.Asriel.
“Hey, you gonna be ok, bro?” I asked him. He took a deep breath and stood up.
“Yeah… no point crying over it, let’s go enjoy ourselves.” He replied, and we all nodded and got changed. C.Asriel paid and we made our way towards the pool. As we got in, there was a Advent Trooper in Hawaiian painted armor standing next to the desk. I couldn't help but laugh. C.Asriel gave the entrance fee to the desk and we all went to get changed, me and Aliza heading to the girls change room.
Me and Aliza changed quickly, waiting on the edge of the outdoor pool for the boys to get out. I watched as a flock of birds flew overhead and remembered the fight against Error Sans… and how he made everything just stop in place. I shook it off as the boys finally made it out.
“What took you guys so long?” I asked.
“We would of been faster if Asriel would of stopped staring at Frisk’s butt the whole time.” C.Chara looked at C.Frisk and C.Asriel and laughed.
“Come on, really?” C.Asriel crossed his and blushed. Aliza also giggled and took C.Chara by the hand, and walked him over to the edge of the pool and the two set up a blanket and laid down together. The rest of dived into the pool and started a Fell Vs. Classic fight. Finally, a day to relax and enjoy ourselves… but I couldn't stop thinking about my sister… F.Chara… in the back of my head.

Chapter 14: The Support Crew
(Classic Undyne’s Point of View)
*“I got it! I’m in, grab F.Chara and I’ll get us out of here!” Ink shouted. I just rammed one of spears into the wall trying to get Error, but he dodged out of the way. I turned around and made a break for the cell but Error hit me with a Blaster shot square in the back. Luckily my armor took most of the blow, but I was knocked a few feet forward. Ink Sans took over the fighting and I got up, running into the cell where F.Chara lay motionless on the ground, breathing heavily. I carefully picked her up.
“I got her! Let’s get out of here!” I shouted. Ink came running into the cell, grabbed me by the arm and in the blink of an eye, we were back in the OC.
*“Great, you got her! Get her inside, both Toriels’ are already waiting!” C.Sans opened the door for me and I ran inside holding F.Chara. I gently laid her on the coffee table in the living room. Both Toriel’s ran into the room and started healing F.Chara.
“Oh my goodness, this is really bad… we’ll try to stabilize her.” C.Toriel commented.
*“I already messaged the kids, they should be ready to leave by now. I’ll go bring them back.” C.Sans disappeared. I stood their, watching the Toriels’ heal F.Chara. Her soul was badly cracked, not to mention her body was badly cut and bruised. Suddenly there was a flash as the kids appeared in the house next to the table. F.Asriel was the first one to react.
“Oh my god… what did Error do to her…?” F.Asriel mumbled.
“Whatever he did, it’s bad. We managed to stabilize her but it’s gonna be a while until she wakes up.: C.Toriel replied as both of them stopped healing. F.Asriel fell to his knees beside the table, hold F.Chara’s hand tightly.
“She said something about being alone this morning, maybe we should all come back tommorrow and be here for her once she wakes up.” C.Toriel offered. We all nodded.
“Yeah, we’ll be here for her!” Aliza agreed.
“I have to back to Alphys, but you better believe I’ll be back tomorrow!” I replied, heading towards the door. Every waved as I left, and I went straight back to Alphys’s Lab, who was excited as always to see me back in once piece.
“Undyne! There you are! Where have you been all day?” Alphys asked, giving me a huge hug. I knelled down to hug her back, kissing her forehead.
“Yeah, sorry about that Alphys, Error’s been on a kidnapping spree and I’ve been helping rescue everybody. He captured two people in one day!” I replied, standing back up.
“Oh, ok, that’s a valid reason. But who got captured?” Alphys asked, walking back over to her workbench.
“First C.Papyrus was captured from the Backsite, then F.Chara. Man, F.Chara’s been going through some tough shit recently. She’s stressed out about recent spike in attacks, and even worse, she feels lonely. Thinking that she’s not good enough for a relationship.” I explained.
“That does sound rough, I bed you were ready to drag her into our relationship right then and there, huh?” Alphys giggled.
“I have to admit, the thought crossed my mind… but anyway she’s safe back in the house now.” I replied, and we spent the rest of the evening working on Alphys’s newest project she was doing for Sans.

Chapter 15: the Hate Grows
(Fell Asriel’s Point of View)
“I swear I’m gonna find Error… and when I do I’ll rip him apart!” I shouted, still holding F.Chara’s hand. I couldn't bare to see her like this, on the brink of death, and not being able to do anything about it. Regardless of what Aliza said, I still feel like a dick for spending the day at the pool as F.Chara almost died. Sure, there was nothing I could of done, but I wish I would've known sooner.
“Hey, relax bro, getting all mad about will not help her. You gotta stay calm, for her sake, ok?” F.Frisk knelt beside me, rubbing my back lightly. I couldn't help but cry a little. F.Chara and F.Frisk are like sisters to me, and I hate seeing any one of them hurt like this.
“Yeah, and don’t worry, we’ll be right here with you, supporting her.” Aliza smiled. I sighed, and sat on the couch beside her. We already moved her to the couch after Undyne left.
“Stay strong Chara, please… I...I need you ok? If you can hear me… please don’t die on me…” I mumbled, rubbing F.Chara’s shoulder lightly. I admit, I started to develop some… stronger feeling for her, but I still wanted to keep our friendship as brother-sister, we just spend too long like that already it felt unnatural to go any further with this.
“Well, it’s getting late… and I suppose someone should sleep down here with F.Chara, just in case she wakes up. F.Asriel, maybe?” C.Chara offered. I turned to look at him dead in the eye.
“You dame well better believe I’m not leaving my sister’s side until she fully recovers.” I replied. C.Chara nodded. F.Toriel went back to the Fell Settlement and everyone else went off to get ready for bed. Before I went to bed, C.Chara came downstairs hold mine and F.Chara’s pillow and blankets.
“Here, I thought you two would be more comfortable with here.” He smiled and handed them to me.
“Ugh… thanks I guess. Goodnight, Classic.” I replied, taking them. C.Chara nodded and ran back upstairs. I carefully lifted F.Chara’s head and placed the pillow underneath, gently laying her head on top. I covered her up with her blanket and then I did something I never expected myself to do… I gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead. “Goodnight, Chara.” I whispered in her ear as I laid back on the other half of the couch, falling asleep fairly quickly. I wonder what could possibly happen next in this crazy adventure.
